From here, you can jump over towards the white planks. After you jump onto that one, drive more arrows into the part shown in the screenshot. (See the bug note in the main walkthrough if you're having issues here.) Now climb back up to trigger the next cutscene. Jump onto the arrow and drive another one into the structure, just like in the screenshot. Lara automatically draws her pistol, and you must then shoot the enemy repeatedly to dislodge him. Climb the cable and.īefore she can scramble all the way up, the Deathless soldier who's been following Lara overtakes her, grabs her foot, and nearly causes her to fall. When Lara is clinging to the ice below the metal cross, jump straight up and grapple the cross. Continue climbing straight up as far as you can go. and then quickly climb to the left (not upward) as the ice gives way. ![]() Then climb around to the left, jump and latch onto the ice wall. When you reach the stone moulding above, wait here momentarily as part of the tower above crumbles and a shower of stones falls around you. Then continue climbing straight upward toward the tower as Trinity and the Deathless duke it out above. You must then jump to the right and latch onto the wall of ice. More fireballs strike nearby, destroying the ledge on which you're standing. ![]() When you regain control, press Forward to She steels herself and peers around the next corner. Here the view shifts as Lara looks down over the edge to spot hundreds of Deathless warriors streaming into the citadel. continue climbing, and finally scramble onto the ledge above I have just obtained the relic Kitezhian Silver in the Lost City. Then take out the Deathless swordsman who appears in the doorway ahead. Ready your shotgun or other weapon as you land. Ride the zip line down to the first building on the right. and you must press Interact to hang on.Ĭlimb up to the damaged area. The Lost City - From the Gate to the Southern Trebuchet (Part 1) After the cutscene at the gate, Lara is facing out over the city toward the trebuchet in the distance. Climb to the bumpy stone wall above.Īs you ascend, a fireball from one of the distant trebuchets smashes into the wall above. When you're ready, take a running jump off the wooden ramp and latch onto the ice wall. My guess is that something's going on with the fullscreen implementation with only this game on my system as the only difference in FPS is when I run it in window mode. The Lost City - From the Broken Spire to the Highest Tower My only smidget of hope is that someone else here has either heard of this or experienced it themselves and could point me in the right direction. I've googled for hours trying to find somebody else with this issue but to no avail. I've tried the GeForce Experience recommended setting. I've tried the 813 beta build of the game. ![]() I'm using the latest build, latest NVIDIA drivers. I've uninstalled and re-installed the game. I dropped the resolution to 2K, then 1080p and I'm still at 29~30 FPS in game! The same can be said in the Display menu. What's even crazier is that in the game's Graphics menu, if I make any changes such as changing the Texture Quality, Shadows, AO, I get next to no FPS changes. For the life of me, I cannot recreate this no matter how long I try. I was messing around and toggling fullscreen on and off and then playing the resolution slider in window mode then switched back to fullscreen and I was able to game at 80+ FPS in 4K until I decided to go into the Graphics settings menu and as soon as I did, the FPS dropped back down to 30 and it's staying there no matter what I do. I have the Steam edition of the game and for a brief minute I was able to fix the FPS drop from the in-game Display settings menu. I can run most games in 4K HDR with very acceptable frame rates but this has got me stumped and banging my head against the wall. I have a i9-10900K GHz CPU, an MSI RTX 3080, 32 GB RAM, and the LG 27GN950 monitor with G-SYNC enabled in both fullscreen and windowed. In comparison, I can run Shadow of the Tomb Raider in 4K, maxed out settings in 80-120 FPS range. Find a way to destroy the gate Go to the other trebuchet Destroy the gate and repel the attack Cross the bridge. It is a stuttering mess and feels way worse than 30 FPS for some reason. Get through the first gate Get through the second gate. ![]() When I load in, the FPS drops from 87 down to 29 in just a second and it stays there ranging from 29-40 FPS depending of where I'm running around. I'm having a real frustrating problem trying to run ROTTR.
